My Story
Hi, my name is Tamicka Monson. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I have worked with youth, families, and adults in many capacities (schools, universities, summer camps, daycare, etc.) for over 15 years. I became a counselor because I enjoy seeing people heal, grow, and become the best version of themselves.
I am a Black therapist. I provide trauma therapy, ADHD therapy, and therapy for stress management, anxiety, and other concerns (see below).

I offer a free 10 to 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit for one another. Consultations are not intended to be therapy sessions. This is the first step in setting up therapy with me. Fill out this form.
Individual Counseling
Adults (ages 18+)
$135 per every 55-minute session
I utilize a variety of treatment approaches to meet clients' needs.

$135 per every 50-minute session
I utilize a variety of treatment approaches to meet the needs of child clients.
*Note: Kids will need to be brought in person for therapy (no telehealth for kids at this time).
Telehealth/Online Appointments

$135 per every 55-minute session
For Kansas adult residents (no kids for telehealth at this time), I offer telehealth/online services. See my FAQ for more information.
Intake Session
Adults (ages 18+), Kids (ages 6-12)
$150 for first session
This is the cost you can expect to pay for your first (initial) individual session (not the free phone consultation). For all other sessions, the rates are listed above.
Group Therapy
Demographic Varies
$40-$50 per session, depending on group type (typically 1 to 1.5 hours)
I deliver group counseling to a small group of 5-8 individuals.
